Dear all
My question is based on the extraction process. As we select the
extraction process based on the Hydrophillic/Hydrophobic characterstic
and polarity of drugs. If drug is hydrophillic in nature then we go
for the direct precipitation and if hydrophobic then liquid liquid
extraction. Why we can not use a general approach like if a drug is
more water soluble or more soluble in particular organic solvent, so we
can directly applied that method for extraction which can reduce the
time of development. How polarity factor effect the extraction process.
Even i know several factors are involved but how much it can be useful
if we use a general approach.
I would be very obliged.
