Hello all,
I hope my first posting is a stupid one...
I want to use Kinetica (Innaphase) for fitting 2 compartment model with
chronic extravascular dosing. As far as I can tell there is no "built in"
model for doing this. I don't want to use non-compartmental analyses (which
are built in to Kinetica for chronic extrvasc.) or resort to writing my
own model (not enough time at present). The Innaphase web site has a few
models for download from the model library...but not what I want.
Am I just silly or is there no built in 2 comp chronic extravasc. dosing model?

Dear David:
Kinetica (InnaPhase) has many built in models for multiple dose data
analysis. There are models for 1 to 3 compartment with extravascular, iv
bolus, iv infusion. There are also models for 1 to 3 compartment with
different routes of administration.
The name of the method for your model is "FitMultiMicroExtravascular".
After you insert this method, you can go to Method, Global Option, and set
Nb comp =2 (means two compartment model). And execute the program.
For convenient, we already designed a template for user to conduct several
different types of modeling. The one you need is called Multi Micro
Extravascular. You can just go to File->New->Fitting, and select that file,
called Multi Micro Extravascular, and put your data under T and C, and Dose.
Then click on Method, under Global Option, set Nb comp=2, and click run.
You also can set different weighting scheme, with lag or no lag under Global
Option too to get the best fit.
