Xipamide is a product of Bayer AG Germany. I have had worked on this product
in 1986. According to my recollection Bayer is no longer developing this
product. Your best bet is to contact Germany directly or you might want to
contact Professor CSP Sastry, School of Chemistry, Andhra University,
Visakhapatnam-530 003 India (whose group published few papers in 1987 and
1988 or Dr. Wlfgang Ritter of Bayer AG Uppertal, Germany.

If your only intention of using this compound as internal standard, my
suggestion is to look for a more readily available compound to increase
applicability of your work.

Try Eli Lilly in Germany . They market the drug here. Alternatively call
Beiersdorf in Hamburg/ Germany. They marketed it before.

I had just another idea.If you cannot get it we can send you a commercial
tablet. But be aware that isolating drugs from tablets to high purity is not
just a simple thing as it looks from the texbook point of view.I speak out
(bad) from experience with "simple" situations.
