Dear Colleagues,
For a drug that the rate of change in plasma
concentration does not quantitatively reflect the
change in drug concentration in the body
(non-equilibrium condition), we could calculate the
half-life based on mass balance date (e.g., time
required for 50% of the total administered dose to be
excreted)? Is it ok to calculate the MRT based on mass
balance date as well (e.g., time required for 63% of
the total administered dose to be excreted)?
