Hi All
I am wondering if anyone has experience with clinical dosing of small
children, specifically regarding the blood volume. Since small children are
percentage wise more water than adults, is the blood volume greater than
50-75 mL/kg or do you routinely use the high end of the estimated range for
adults?
Cheers!

Jeffrey,
We use a total blood volume of 80 ml/kg (e.g. to calculate maximum
allowable blood volumes drawn for PK studies).
