Dear all,
Can any one let me know the pKa values of the Rifapentine.
Rifapentine being the derivative of the Rifampicin, only change is
instead
of N-CH3...its is N-Pentene ring.
Does this change in the Nitrogen attached group, change a lot the pKa
value of the drug?
The pKa value of the Rifampicin is 1.7 (due to three OH group of
napthelene ring) and 7.9 (due to N-CH3)
Kindly let us know, if any text references of the Rifapentine pKa
Have a nice day!
