I seek the opinions and recommendations of other "PharmPKers" re. a good,
reasonably priced (< $100.), introductory textbook in toxicology which
specifically relates to the pharmaceutical industry.
There was a good, practical text published by Cambridge University Press
in 1989 entitled: "A practical approach to toxicological investigations"
by Poole and Leslie. This book is now rather dated and also, I believe,
out of print.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Peter

Try "CRC Handbook of Toxicology" (avail. used for $80) by M.J. Derelanko
and
M.A. Hollinger. Mike Derelanko has also published a more recent
compendium
for Toxicologists, but it costs $150 new. Both are excellent texts for
all
types of toxicology.
