Hello, everyone,
I have developed an analytical method (LC/MS/MS) to
analyze sorbitol and fructose level in human sural
nerve tissues and red blood cells from normal and
diabetic patients both, the method worked well
re-producibly in both matrix.
I have tested three lots of normal person's nerve
tissues and two lots of diabetes, the both sugars
level are lower in diabetes than in normal nerve
tissue. From published paper, both sugars should be
higher in diabetes, Could anybody give any suggestions
or ideas, why?
Thanks a lot,
Lihong Gao, Ph.D.
