Hello,

Does anybody have experience using a vehicle containing 10% DMF (p.o.
administration) in the rat for 28 days?
Will the vehicle elicit toxicity?  We are assessing the tolerability of
a new chemical entity.

Hello Marla,

I have experience with such a vehicle but not over a long dosing
period. but
I would suggest that you first test the vehicle tolerability over some
days
(up to 28 days if you have time)before assessing the tolerability of
your
active drug. This kind of 'exotic' vehicle could really be more or less
well
tolerated at 10% depending on the dose of vehicle you plan to administer
daily!!!
