Dear Colleagues,Back to the Top
I am looking for a simple PK simulation software package. Add Pk
parameters and simulate dose regimens. Alter parameters and examine
changes.
I have tried Pharmcalc, Pharmacokinetic simulations (V2.0)and
MacKinetics.
MacKinetics is the most suitable package for our application but is a
little out of date. We are particularly interested in the simulation of
a multiple dose profile for autoinduction of a drug. Therefore we need
to adjust half-life after each dose and we want to overlay different
regimens.
Can anyone suggest a simple, flexible and comprehensive simulation
package?
Thank you

Hi John,Back to the Top
Pharsight Trial Simulator will allow you to adjust half-life after each
dose and let you explore different
regimens. It is a Windows based program and very easy to learn. You
may check www.pharsight.com for more info.

WinSAAM is most suitable for your requirements. All of the simulation
activities you describe can be easily implemented using WinSAAM.
WinSAAM can be downloaded free from the following website: www.WinSAAM.com
