Dear All:Back to the Top
In the non compartmental analysis using WinNonlin I am trying to
generate a summary table listing the terminal phase characteristics,
slope, intercept, Kel (slope is Kel), T1/2. I am not able to capture
slope and intercept information into this summary table. Can someone
help me on this issue?

Hi,
In WinNonlin (4.1), there is an option in the parameters screen (where
we can
check the units)to select which parameters should be calculated and
which
should not. I assume the parameters you are specifying may be checked
for
'no'. Please check that before asking it to 'model'.

Prasad: The WinNonlin .pwo output file reports Kel as Lambda_z. ToBack to the Top
output this variable into a table by using the Table Wizard is the same
for Camx, AUC,etc. (you just select it as one of the variablesto place
in the table you are creating). I am not sure why you want to report
"intercept." Of course, there is the y- and the x-intercepts. First
of all, either one of these has to be calculated. When using the
WinNonlin Model 201 (IV input bolus), the y-intercept is calculated and
reported in the .pto output file as the concentration at time 0 for the
purpose of the trapezoidal calculation of AUC. This may not be the
y-intercept of the slope, but an extrapolation of the first phase.
The intercepts based on the regression for the slope have to be
calculated. The .pwo file also acts as spreadsheet, and the intercepts
can be calculated for each subject's data by using entering the
formulas and data.As I said above, the reason for presentation of
intercepts of the slope for PKis one I don't understand. If the
reason is to preent the caracterisctics of the regression, Rsq in the
.pwo and .pto output files may be more meaningful.
Hope this helps.
