Dear all,
When iam plotting a calibration curve (linear) by assigning respose on
y axis and time on x axis for my analysis, I have to give some
weighting for the data, can any body give details how to calculate the
1/x, 1/x*x, 1/y and 1/y*y manually
Thanks

Presumably if you are doing calibration plots you are regressing
response (y) on C (x), not Time. If so, here is 1 simple way using
variance-based weighting of C (i.e. 1/x*x). It is based on a handy
rearrangement of the regression function but you can do it easily on a
calculator.
