Dear friends,
We are now working on the bioavailability and
bioequivalence study for risedronate tablet. For
determination of residronate concentration in serum,
we have been performing several methods including HPLC
and LC-MS. However we didn't get satisfied data. Based
on previous report by Mitchell et al entitled:
"Risedronate Pharmacokinetics and Intra- and
Inter-Subject Variability upon Single-Dose Intravenous
and Oral Administration" in Pharm. Res. 2001
Feb;18(2):166-70 (and other publications). Risedronate
can be detected well in serum. So we will try to use
their method for our purpose.
I would like to obtain information regarding ELISA
method to determine the risedronate concentration in
the serum or urine. Also, I would like to know if
there are any commercial ELISA kit available and the
names of their supplier. I should be most grateful.
Thank you very much
Sincerely yours,
Dr. Junaidi Khotib
