Dear forum,
I agree with Hans Proost's comments about bioavailability from SC vs
IV and
the lack of relevance of arterial bioavailability. Following on from
that
does anyone have data they can share from nasal sprays?
I have found the onset of action of a CNS active drug like fentanyl
is very
rapid by the nasal route, suggesting that some of it at least goes
straight
into the brain. If so I would like to know if anyone has data on the
relative proportions that go into the brain when the IV and the nasal
routes
are compared.
Many thanks
Andrew Sutton.
