hi all,
i m studyin platelet aggregation inhibition (PAI) of some polyphenols
(from plant extract)
which are not soluble in water, but soluble in methanol
but methanol or DMSO or Tween 20/80 has a platelet aggregation
inhibition activity (PAI) nearly upto 25%
can any body suggest me another solubilizer which will serve as an
inert agent.
and can i use any suspending agent in this experiment
the time taken for this invitro expt is 8min/run..

You can try using one of the cremophores or maybe polypropylene
glycols. To my knowledge the frequency of thrombosis with Cremophor
is less than 5% while it might be more than 50% with glycols. It is
worth a shot though.
