Dear all,
I am using WinNonlin version 5.0 for pharmacokinetic analysis. I have
a quirey regarding the output data.
I am using noncompartmental analysis to determine the PK parameters
for our NCE's.
Once i selet a model say NCA model 201 for IV bolus input for plasma
data, i need to specifiy some model parameters like data variables,
dose administered and Lambda Z range.
In Lambda Z range window, i can select the points in the terminal
portion of the plasma conc. time profile for calculating elimination
half life. once i select the points there will be Rsq, Rsq(adj) and
t1/2 displayed.
Once i finished modelling NCA workbook, text and chart will be
displayed. In NCA chart, NCAworkbook, text there will be again Rsq,
Rsq(adj) and HL_Lambda_Z values displayed.
My question is there any difference b/w t1/2 and HL_lambda_Z ?
The reason is, there would be similar value displayed for Rsq and Rsq
(adj), but there is a different value for t1/2 and HL_Lambda_Z.
What is the reason for the same?
Thanks,
Suresh.B.L
