Dear All,
We have developed a method for the estimation of Testosterone in
Plasma using LC-MS/MS.
Before going to the analysis in healthy subjects, we need to have a
baseline correction because testosterone left unutilised by the
muscles contribute to a baseline level in plasma.
1. Can we take baseline conc as the predose value and subtract the
same from other sample time points for each volunteer?
2. alternatively, can we proceed with determining the predose conc in
roughly 6-12 subjects (same age group) and the mean subtracted from
each time point ??
3. does endogenous levels of Testosterone affect the Pharmacokinetics
of the administered dose, if yes what is the max dose that can be
adminnistered?
4. anyone has idea about the criteria for selection of volunteers
Comments are highly appreciated. Thank you all in advance.
Wish you all a HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR 2007
Santosh
