sir,
i am working on in vitro - in vivo correlation, in which in vitro
dissolution profile and in vivo human studies are conducted.but one
difficulties is that we not have facility to conduct human trial, but
we have facility to conduct dissolution studies. here i want to know
that we can adopt the in vivo human data from another person study
and where we got these data regarding in vitro-in vivo correlation study
plz suggest us.

Dear Shekhawat
You can just compare your in vitro results with available in vitro
results but it will be not a part of your study.

I personally conducted invitro-invivo corellation studies on some
brands of aspirin tablets products in the past.
So I want to advised lokesh shekhawat that it is not possible to
adopt the invivo human data from another person's study to correlate
your invitro profiles, unless you are using same drug products or set
of drug products (dosage form, brand, batch) employed by the other
person. If so it will be a continuation of the work, because your drugs
- set of drugs in focus must be the same subjected to both invitro
and invivo studies. In the absence of that you need to conduct your
own invivo study on "your own" drugs - set of drugs.
You must bear in mind that physicochemical properties of drugs such
as particle size, particle shape, polymorphism,
excipients, compressional force etc will vary with different drug
products. All these will affect your invtro and invivivo studies and
it must be assumed constant in both studies before you can embark on
correlation studies.
I hope my suggestion is useful to you. I will be ready to answer any
other question you may want to ask on the same subject.
