Dear,
I would like to know if anybody could tell me what the % PEG 400
should be in order to be iso-osmotic with serum. Is this the
reported 11.25% in the approved IV infusion formulation on the
CDER homepage? Can the % be calculated for other PEGs (eg PEG 200 or
PEG 1500) too?
Thank you.

PEG could be iso-osmotic and this property is a function of
concentration
Is like a glucose 5 % which is iso-osmotic at 5 % but at 10 % glucose
is hypertonic
With an osmometer, red cell, appropriate microscope you can determine
the osmotic concentration of your solvant
