Hi,
We are exploring maturation of aminoglycoside clearance with age in
neonates/children and trying to disentangle development from size
changes. In
order to investigate maturation we would like to compile a large data
set
looking at renal function with age.
We already have quite a lot of data describing aminoglycoside total
clearance
from which we have tried to deduce renal function but it would be
much more
satisfying to get some actual measurents of renal clearance --
creatinine,
inulin, drugs -- and/or measurements of GFR.
We have located a large data set in the literature but unfortunately the
authors, though willing, are unable to find the numbers again. So we are
starting over again and seeking help from anyone who would like to
contribute
their data, no matter who small the numbers, that would let us build
(and
keep building) a data set that can be used to describe the maturation of
renal function as well as the changes with body size.
If you are interested in helping us by adding your own data to a pool we
would be very grateful if you would contact us to discuss how to do
this.
