work running on the Roxithromycin fast dissolving tablet. But i m in
confuswion of the solubility of Roxithromycin. U.V detection is
possible of this drug?

It's my direct experience that many macrolides like roxithromycin,
erythromycin are not easily quantifiable in UV: we have usually used
LC/MS and LC/MS/MS for pharmacokinetic studies in animals.
I don't know if, for your pharmaceutical purposes UV quantification
is feasible...
However, a possible alternative approach, whenever mass spectrometry
is not available, might be a biological assay with a sensitive
bacterial strain, exploiting the antibiotic activity of roxithromycin.

Bhavik,
Roxithromycin is detected by HPLC with ion trap mass spectrometric
and electrochemical detection. Because of the lack of a strong
chromophore, development of a suitable analytical method for
metabolic studies using HPLC with UV or fluorescence detection is not
practical.
Roxithromycin is very slightly soluble in aqueous medium however
solubility can be increased. The oral bioavailability of
Roxithromycin is low mainly due to poor aqueous solubility and
dissolution behavior.
