Dear Friends,
We are working on a formulation development of a new compound in an
IV dosage form to contain ~ 50 mg/ml to perform toxicology studies in
pregnant Rabbits. The problem we are facing is that the compound has
very minimum or no bioavailability orally and we have to go IV or SC
route preferably IV. Since we can not use some of the common vehicles
for IV route such as ethanol, DMSO or DMAC because these vehicles
have an impact on pregnancy themselves, we are limited to very few
solvents. I would appreciate it if you can help me find an acceptable
solvent/vehicle for reproductive studies in Rabbits via IV route.
The compound is neutral.
Thanks in advance.
