Dear sirs,
I took the freedom to write you regarding DMSO's ability to penetrate/
cross membranes.
I did numerous efforts to try to get DMSO in Artemia cysts.
Although these cysts easily absorb water I could not find a method
which allows DMSO entering the embryo.
I tried pure DMSO and a combination of various solutions with water.
I stained these solutions with different colors;
methyl blue, iodine, red ponceau, iron oxides etc.. non of them where
visible inside the embryo after incubation times ranging from 5
minutes to 4 days.
I did these tests on Artemia cysts and de-capsulated Artemia (only
embryo remains with protective membrane)
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
