Dear All
I want to learn IVIVC.
Please tell me the references for that to have full clarity about the
topic.
Thanks in advance

Dear priyadeep,
the following article may be of little help to you....

Dear Priyadeep:
What do you mean by IVIVC? I Guess it's suppose to be IVIVE (In-
vitro-In-vivo Extrapolation) which draws much attention in the recent
past. Pharmacokinetics, Drug-Drug interactions, Clearance & oral
absorption in Humans can be predicted by quantitative in-vitro-in-
vivo extrapolation including Allometric scaling (The best and
complete reference available till date is the book titled
"Interspecies Pharmacokinetic scaling" by Iftekhar Mahmood; Published
by Pinehouse publishers, 2005, 396 pages)
Other interesting References include:

vitro drug discovery data Nat Rev Drug Discov. 2005 Oct;4(10):825-33.

In the late 90s Nattie Eddington (University of Maryland at Baltimore)
published a series of papers on IVIVC and its application in
pharmaceutical development in the Intl. J. Generic Drugs look former
articles these are pretty much a walk through of IVIVC if you need any
help please contact me offline.

Dear Priyadeep
Just to add to the Syed Mustafa comments, Simcyp runs regular hands-
on workshops on the concepts and applications of IVIVE in drug
discovery and development which have proved popular among industrial,
academic and regulatory scientists.
The next set of workshops are going to be held in less than two weeks
time but both are fully booked now; however you can get the dates for
the future ones at:
http://www.simcyp.com/ProductServices/Workshops/
Also, some of our publications in this area can be found at:
http://www.simcyp.com/ResearchDevelopment/Publications/
Hope you find this useful.

Dear Priyadeep,
Some of the good references are:
1. Biopharm. Drug Dispos. 23: 1-8 (2002)
2. European Journal of Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics 56 (2003)
429-437
Also, now with WinNonlin version 5.2, IVIVC tool kit is available as an
add on.
