Hello All!
Does anybody have a reference whether Ketoconazole inhibits efflux
transporters P-gp, MRP 1 and 2?
Whether quercetin/flavonoids affect paracellular transport? What are
the regulatory mechanisms for such transport?
Thanks in advance
Swati

Ketoconazol has been frequently used as a P-gp inhibitor in studies
investigating P-gp activity. If you make a little search on PubMed
you can find a lot of articles on this subject.
Regarding quercetin, there's an interesting in vivo study entitled as
"Wang YH, Chao PD, Hsiu SL, Wen KC, Hou YC.Lethal quercetin-digoxin
interaction in pigs.Life Sci. 2004 Jan 23;74(10):1191-7."
