Dear All,
Is any reference available in which pH across the
gastrointestinal tract of rats have discussed? I know the gall
bladder is not present in some of the species like rats and horses,
but no reference I have got in which a detailed information regarding
the pH values across the Rat git has mentioned. Does it simulates the
same pH sequence as that of Human or different which may affetct the
simulation condition.
Thanking in advance.

[Have you seen the papers by Doluisio, Dittert, (Diamond?) et al. in
J. Pharm. Sci., around 1970? using the 'Kentucky' aka 'Dolusio'
method of investigating drug absorption? ;-) db]
