Hi!
We have an NCE whose solubility is pH dependent. Even a solution of
drug at 30 mg/ml in Milli-Q-water gives a pH of around 12. However the
solubility is around 200 micrograms per millilitre in PBS (pH 7.4).
The drug starts precipitating in buffer at very low concentration
(even 20 microgram per ml).
I have encapsulated the drug in a polymeric particles (PLGA). However
the released drug doesn't remain in solution and precipitates within
few hours. However I have to develop the system with a release profile
of upto 2-3 weeks for a implantable depot for subcutaneous route.
Could yopu please suggest any suitable medium or other conditions to
study the same.
Best regards,
Ajay Gupta
