Hi,
I am working with many water insoluble compounds and we need to
dissolve them in a suitable vehicle for administration by I.V, I.P
and by subcutaneous route. Can you suggest suitable vehicles for
subcutaneous route for Pka study in mice and rats? They should all
fall within the specified limits of FDA II G list.
Thanks

To answer to Tejal,
I suggest the following papers:
1) Title: "An intravenous formulation decision tree for discovery
compound formulation development"
International Journal of Pharmaceutics 253 (2003) 111-119
2) A 'useful' general paper recently published is:
Nonclinical Vehicle Use in Studies by Multiple Routes in Multiple
Species
Gad et al
International Journal of Toxicology, 25:499-521, 2006
3) You may find something useful via the following:

Hope this will help you.
Best regards,

Dear Tejal
You can try with cosolvents like ethanol 10%, PEG 10% Remaining aqueous
cyclodextrin solution. This may be of your interest.
Thanks
