Dear All,
On page 193 in the book of PK-PD Data Analysis (3rd addition) authored
by Gabrielsson and Weiner, the competitive antagonism model is
expressed as E=Emax*C/((1+A/EA)*EC+C). Is the term of (1+A/EA) or
(1+A/EA50) correct? The Gaddum equation actually expresses this term
as 1+A/KA, where KA is the dissociation constant. Can anyone provide
comments or reference about this difference?
Thanks,
Bin
