I have found in some articles an estimation/approximation to of
hepatic extraction ratio calculated from total body clearance/hepatic
blood flow = CL/Qhep. I would like to ask if it's really reliable and
how should interpret it?
I thought it should be hepatic CL and not total body CL the one used
to have an estimation of hepatic Eh.
thank you in advance for your help,

Dear Dr. Reck,
You can find some answers to your questions if looking into the
following article:
Terziivanov, D. et al. Nabumetone (BRL 14777) presystemic elimination
anddisposition in patients with liver impairments. Int J Clin
Pharmacol Ther Toxicol., 1987, 25, 208-213.
I hope it might be of help.
