Hi all,
We would like to assess N-acetyl-transferase NAT2 activity and we are
looking for a specific substrate.
1_Sulfamethazine could be a good one. But we can't found a supplier
for its acetylated metabolite.
2_Caffeine could be a good one too, and I find that its NAT2
metabolite is AFMU (5-acetylamino-6-formylamino-3-methyluracile).
For this product, we can't found a supplier too.
I don't understand because it seems to be a common test to determine
the rate of acetylation.
Is there someone here, who knows a supplier, who is a supplier, or who
knows other specific substrates of NAT2 (with available metabolite)?
All Your suggestions are highly appreciable.
Thanks and Regards.
