Hi All,
I am the beginner in the learning of pharmacokinetics. I want to understand mathematical processes in the pharmacokinetics.
So, please give me the useful links or articles to understand maths in pharmacokinetics.
With regards,
Nimesh

Dear Nimesh,
I think we all are beginners at one stage or another of learning
pharmacokinetics.
Good thing that evolution is slow enough for us to catch up.
For an overview of some equations in pharmacokinetics, a popularly downloaded
list can be obtained at:

There are also several links to introductory to advanced articles at
our useful resource
links page at:

I trust these references will give your a head start in your quest.

Dear Nimersh,
I strongly advice you the following link. It is really useful to get a brief summary for PK!

The original request was for information on the mathematical aspects of PK/PD modelling. A couple of years ago, I was in the same position and I found the following useful.
Pharmacokinetic-Pharmacodynamic Modeling and Simulation by Peter Bonate.
It's mainly about the model building process, rather than the details of specific models. So if you're very new and need it all in a concrete setting in your mind, then I'd recommend getting some basic experience fitting PK/PD models with some maximum likelihood software (e.g. NONMEM) first. It's less useful for fully Bayesian approaches (as opposed to maximum likelihood) or the very new fancy things you can do, but it'll set you up nicely for both of these.
Tarj.
