I have a question on using MgCl2 in liver microsome stability assay. I have seen the assay protocol with and without MgCl2 included, some assay includes EGTA even. So, if I use NADPH (instead of NADPH regenerating system), shall I include MgCl2 or not? Can you recommend any reference for it?
Thank you in advance for your help.

You dont need to add the magnesium chloride if you are using a reduced NADPH tetrasodium salt,
