Can the Q1 ion equivalent to mono -isotropic weight of the compound in negative mode. Average mol. weight is 924. monoisotopic molecular weight should be 923.49 Da, which makes the theoretical deprotonated molecular ion at m/z 922.5 but in our Q1 can is m/z 923.5. it is possible ? if yes then how.

Hi Yashpal,
The variations can happen due to a few reasons:
1. Tuning solution is contaminated/not freshly prepared
2. Infusion pump not working properly.
3. Mass shift in the instrument.
4. May show a better response in positive mode
Hope it helps!
