Hi forum members,
Could someone comment on the rounding rule used by WinNonlin reporting, for examples, if you choose 2 significant figures in table reporting, will both 11.5 and 12.5 be reported as 12 (the next even number)?
Thanks,
Jack

Hi Jack,
I can certainly comment to it; but perhaps I am missing the point of your question.
If you run such data through the rounding options e.g. in the Table Wizard or of WinNonlin Classic or Phoenix WinNonlin then you will see 11.5 will be reported as 12 and 12.5 as 13.
This is the common rounding rule implemented in Phoenix (and many other applications), was there something else you were looking for. If you are looking to request an enhancement then please either email Support.at.pharsight.com; or perhaps you can open a discussion in the thread "enhancement requests" on our Pharsight user forum;

Thanks Simon. I tried that and you are right. I believe a commonly accepted rule of rounding calls for 12.5 to be rounded to 12 instead of 13, because there is no digit following 5. Obviously we can't incorporate such a rule in our SOP because it is not the way how WNL or Excel works. In most cases however this is a non-issue because you usually have many more digits in PK data.
