dear all,
can anybody suggest which type of plasma should i use for MD/MV of a
vitamin in human plasma. As they always +nt in our serum/ plasma/
blood.
How we can remove them from blank plasma.
Is there any guideline for vitamins or acceptable limit in blank.
How we can break its protein-binding.

Hi Ashish
As vitamins are endogenous, you should prepare ur samples using bovine serum.Prepare your CC in bovine serum as well as in normal plasma. Prepare a blank in normal plasma and get the concentration in blank against the CC prepared in bovine serum. Whatever the concentration you have obtained blank plasma subtract it from the entire cc and qc samples prepared from normal plasma.

Hi
You probably know this, but if not, SRM materials are available from
NIST for many vitamins. These can be built in as QCs for most methods..
