Hi,
We need to estimate various AUCs of a drug after an extravascular dose. Does anybody know if an AUC0-tmax can be automatically estimated? Or does one need to first find out the tmax for each individual and then instruct the software to estimate each individual's AUC0-tmax by using the individual tmax data one by one?
Thanks!

I believe you need to determine tmax for each one and then use the partial
area tab.

Dear Dr Gordi,
I think this is a pretty simple step in the Phoenix WinNonlin platform by using a "Join Worksheets" object after your NCA. By making it an "Inner Join" you can use the "Tmax" from the "NCA Final Parameters Pivotted" and merge it with the "Summary table" to return only those records; the "AUC" column is a the cumulative AUC at that point
I've attached a screenshot here which you'll be able to see as I've included your direct email but probably won't be visible to the rest of the list so here's a link that should work;

If this isn't clear, please can you post to the User Forum (www.pharsight.com/extranet) where we can more easily exchange photos/files to understand and resolve your problems better. Finally I'd like to remind all WNL5 and earlier users that that upgrading to Phoenix WinNonlin 6.x is free for WinNonlin users with a valid maintenance contract. Phoenix 6.2 will be released shortly; incorporating the IVIVC toolkit, NLME enhancements, remote processing and also giving enhanced Windows 7 and MS Office 2010 support.
Best regards,
Simon.
