Dear all,
We have been trying for establishing Flavin monooxygenase (FMO)
activity in our lab using Benzydamine as the standard substrate in
liver microsomes, But even though we performed the assay using the
described conditions in the literature, w e could not notice any
metabolism of benzydamine. The pre- incubation of microsomes was done
with NADPH before the reaction started with the addition of
benzydamine at a final concentration of 2.5uM. Can anyone give me the
reason of the observed no metabolism or say (20%) itself.
Thanking you
