Does anyone have a reference(s) that demonstrate lower protein binding in the renally impaired caused by buildup of endogenous "waste materials"?
I know renal impairment is often accompanied by decreases in albumin and other proteins, but I'm interested to see if increases in BUN, creatinine, or other components can alter protein binding in these patients.
Thanks - Dave
