Dear all,
I have a question about lymph volume and lymph flow rate. I have been
looking for this data for the past couple of days without any luck. What
is the volume and flow rate of lymph in individual human organs? I'll
appreciate any help. Thank you.

Not easy to find these data but can say the following:
Lymph flows through the thoracic duct and reenters the general
circulation at the rate of 125 mL/hour
During exercise, lymph flow may increase as much as 10-15x

Dear Brian, thank you for your message, we have the same data (using 120
mL/ h/ 70 kg person) we just wanted to have something more specific
(e.g. lymph flow rate in individual organs) but you are right, not easy
to find these data. Anyhow, thank you for you help, mirek

Dear All:
Back about 1965, Rolf Blomstrand at the Karolinska Institute, I
think, cannulated the thoracic duct in patients with cirrhosis, and
found
humungous lymph flows of up to 1500 ml/day from thoracic duct iinto the
superior vena cava. I think he did a PhD thesis on this.
