  Dear all,
  
  Can anybody clarify it to me whether solid formulation, such as capsule or
  tablet, can be used for the oral formulation in monkey PK or Tox study? To my
  knowledge,  most people use nasogastric administration (a tube inserted into
  stomach passing trough the nose) with liquid foumulation for monkey oral dosing.
  
  If solid formulation can be used for monkey oral dosing, is there any special
  technique or trick of doing it? It will be great if there is literature support.

  Hi Yi,
  Capsule or tablet also can be used in PK or Tox study. These formulations were
  used many times in our lab before.
  Usually, a pill gun will be used to dose the animals.
