Dear all,
I want to undertake a new initiative in understanding how to best communicate
our models, and PK-PD results in general, to laypeople outside our field. I am
particularly interested in project team members, i.e., physicians,
statisticians, project managers, medical writers, toxicologists, and regulatory
affairs.
We've all given presentations where "they just didn't get it" or felt proud that
the team really understood what you were presenting. If you have a particular
slide or slide deck you are proud of, one that conveyed a point you were
trying
to make, please anonymize them and send them to me. I will organize them and
hope to conduct some focus group testing to truly see what is the best way to
convey our results. And don't hesitate to turn in a colleague that has
presented a really bad slide (or a good slide if that is the case). I will keep
all contributions anonymous and hope to present the results in the future at a
meeting or AAPS webinar.
