Hello,
I have Windows 8.1 (64 bit) with Compaq FORTRAN 6.6. When I try to run ID and SIM modules in ADAPT
5, they work fine; however, when I try to run NPD, MLEM, STS etc. the program does not run. I am
able to compile MODEL, DATA, and PARAMETER files properly, but when I press RUN, the RUN window does
not appear. I have been using ADAPT in Windows XP Service Pack 3 compatibility mode, but there
seems to be some issue with POP modules. I will really appreciate it, if someone can help me out.
Thank you
Rutwij

Dear Rutwij,
I encountered similar problem with phoenix 6.4 by Pharsight.
After upgrading the system from windows 8.0 to windows 8.1 the program didn't perform execution of
any model.
After consulting the technical support by certara we arrived to the conclusion that it is a problem
with window 8.1.
I could solve the problem only after making "recovery" for the computer and returning to windows
8.0.
Take into account that "recovery" is like formatting the computer and you will loose all your
programs installed on the computer.
Good Luck,
Joe

Hi.
As I know, 64bit could support most 32bit programs. If the software doesn't work well, that means
the operation system needs some DLL files with correct version. Maybe, you should connect the
software seller for help.
