I just sent out 9 messages this morning. All good stuff with a lot of PK/PD
application. I hope you find these messages useful. Some might be concerned
about filling up their e-mail in-box. I would like to remind you all that
it is possible to receive this list as a digest. Up to now (before the
recent increase in traffic) the digest was set to come out every couple of
weeks (the last two were much closer together). Therefore if you are
thinking that the traffic is too much you might consider using the digest
option.

The downside to using digests is that the message may be a little old
before you see them. You can still respond/reply by sending messages to
PharmPK.-a-.boomer.org. Remember to check the To: field before
sending any e-mail. I'll try stop the 'personal' replies from going to the
whole list but I can't guarantee that I'll get them all. Replies are often
addresses to individuals in the message field but are of a general/public
nature so I usually send those through to the whole list.
The listserv software also has the capability for searching the digests by
keyword. Once a digest is identified it can be retrieved. The help message
will give details. Send me e-mail directly if you need help with this.
I get a 'few' bounced messages because of bad addresses. Sometimes this is
temporary - sometimes it is just a wrong address. With more traffic it is
hard to keep track of temporary problems. I routinely delete addresses that
bounce so if I delete you my mistake I'm sorry. Please just resubscribe
(there is a form on http://www.boomer.org/pkin/pkin.html) that will
help). Or ask me to put you back on the list. BTW The list now has over 750
members.
Finally, I upgraded the mail server software this morning. If you get this
message within 24 hours - it is probably still working OK ;-) I plan to
upgrade the listserv software as well shortly. Before the New Year or at
least over the 'break'. Hopefully this will mean no change...that is
everything should work the same --- but faster.
