I am a Systems Analyst at Eastman Kodak supporting a Biochemical
Toxicology lab. I am trying to get some additional information about a
software package known by the acronym of DEBRA. The package is used for
conducting pharmacokinetic studies, and was evaluated several years ago
by the lab I am supporting. Unfortunately, due to personnel changes over
the years, no one here now remembers the name of the company that wrote
and sells this package. All they remember is that it was a firm from the
UK. Do you know if this software package still exixts, and if so, could
you pass along the name of the company that sells it ?
Thanks very much for your help.

My company (Summit Research Services) offers software automation of data
acquisition, analysis, reporting, and presentation functions for
laboratories conducting pharmacokinetics and ADME metabolism
(pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, etc.). The programs are GLP-compliant. We
work with Microsoft Office and Visual Basic applications to make your life
easier, your solutions current, and your upkeep minimal. Also, our software
solutions are designed by metabolism scientists, meet real-world needs, and
cost about one-third of the price of Debra. See below for how to contact us.

The company I work for (Knoll Pharmaceuticals) uses DEBRA in another section
of Drug Metabolism in the Research Department.
It certainly is still quite widely used in the UK and development is
ongoing. I think the company is LabLogic in Sheffield, UK, but I will check
when I go back to work on Monday for further details. I will let you know
more information, telephone/fax numbers, etc
