I have a question that has been giving us trouble for quite some
time. We use I.V. sedation at the office I work at, and we have been
trying to develop a topical analgesic that will work in under five
minutes. We have tried various non-invasive methods such as patches,
and sprays, but have as of yet been unable to get anything to work.
We did get one that worked after about 45 min., and we have been
considering useing that much like an oral pre-medication. We have
been trying Lidocaine based solutions, but other anesthetics may
work. I am open to any suggestions, and would love to hear from
anyone.
