I guess this method has been routinely used on PK analysis.
Is this correct?

Yes, I agree with you.
I want to know how to use drug rationally . Therefore,  I am
studying on  the relationship between PK and PD in patients
treated with specific drug.
I always use NONMEM and NPEM. I will try to ask some issues
about PK/PD modeling in near future.

                                 has not been  ;  is valid
I don't know exactly but I guess this method is not used frequently.
