Dear All,
I am about to carry out some interspecies scaling in mammals for lung
concentrations following inhaled administration.
Rather than using volumes in the scaling, it was thought more
appropriate to use concentration of drug per square metre. However I am
finding it very difficult to find references and values of the total
surface area of lung, alveoli and bronchi, in rat, pig, dog, rabbit and
humans.
Any suggestions?
Kind regards
