Does anyone have any experience with alloxan which is used for inducing
diabetes?  If yes, what species & how did you administer. We have a patient
(dog) at our hospital who would benefit from this (last resort treatment).
Have found the product in chemical supplier's catalogues, but wonder if there
is a commercially available product.   Since it is used in diabetes research,
I hoped that  someone on this list MIGHT be aware.
