Where can I get an Excel add-in or Excel spreadsheet to perfom kinetics
calculations for human patients receiving atb infusions and/or various oral

David,
I have found that simple to moderately complex pharmacokinetic modeling can
be done within excel simply by programming your spreadsheet to calculate
your parameters based on the information you put into selected cells. You
would need to decide what models you use in your practice, and then just
teach Excel the equations. I have used this method throughout my PharmD
program. If you are looking for a more polished interface, I would suggest
contacting David Farrier at Summit Research Services.

I should stipulate that I am a student at the moment and am just about to
begin my clinical rotations in May so my experience in using the excel
method I have used in classroom simulations has not really been tested in
real practice. The Product that Summit is selling is actually a very good
one, and has a great deal of flexibility. If you have any questions, please
feel free to contact me directly at ashpatel.-a-.iquest.net

Ash,
Thanks for the recommendation. I believe your reference is to Summit's "PK
Solutions", a pharmacokinetics analysis and graphing program based in
Excel. For the record, we recently updated our web/email to a permanent
